Losing weight is the bain of most people's lives, the female population. There is a lot pressure these days to be slim! I agree with slim, but you must be healthy and being narrow is not healthy. People don't realise, the young girls, that you need to be a healthy weight to maintain your body and bones. In the event you don't eat of the correct foods, your body doesn't get the nutrition it needs. If this is the case you then start to suffer from all sorts of issues, from brittle bones to having no immune method and suffering from all sorts of ill health.

This means eating a healthy diet: lots of fruit and vegetables, fish and lean meat.

They must gain vitamins and minerals from our food so eating leafy green vegetables for iron and calcium, lean meat and fish for protein, fruit for vitamin C to mention but a few.

To lose weight they must cut down on our food intake and exercise a bit more to burn off the calories. But, to lose weight healthily they must make sure that they continue to eat the foods that are nice for us.

Cutting out the bad food types is the best way forward i.e. pizza's, creamy foods, cakes, biscuits, chocolate etc but these can still be eaten in moderation as a tiny treat occasionally.

Everyone likes to see a speedy result and I must admit it is a very slow method when you are only losing one - two pounds per week.

  1. I think The junk food is the main reason for getting weight. If you want to loss your weight so quickly then you have to avoid fast foods.
